Box Elder Rugby Team

Triumph Academy is proud to have founded Box Elder County’s first youth rugby team, integrating students from both Triumph and the surrounding community. As a member of Utah Youth Rugby and USA Rugby, the team competes in full-contact 15-man and 7’s tournaments across the state. Beyond competition, rugby serves as a therapeutic outlet, helping students manage stress and emotions while building camaraderie, discipline, and accountability. Players are also required to maintain academic standards and engage in community service projects throughout the season.

Retriever Training Program

This one-of-a-kind vocational program gives students the opportunity to train and care for registered retrievers—from puppies to competition-ready adults. Daily interaction with the dogs helps students build trust, patience, and responsibility while earning Animal Science credit and gaining hands-on experience. As they progress through basic and advanced training techniques, students may even qualify to compete in nationally recognized AKC events. The Retriever Program supports emotional development, encourages healthy routines, and offers a powerful outlet for personal growth through the bond between student and dog.
